| Self-Leveling Camera HeadRIDGID announced a new self-leveling camera head for its SeeSnake Max rM200 Camera System. With its always-upright, self-leveling design, the new head was added to help take the guesswork out of inspections. Users can now count on a clear, right-side-up image or video in even the most complicated lines. Capable of inspecting lines up to 200 feet in length and 1.5 inches to 6 inches in diameter, it is equipped with a built-in docking system for attaching upcoming viewing monitors and is compatible with the RIDGID SeeSnake CS10 and CS1000 Digital Recording Monitors. The rM200 is also equipped with an integrated transport system to make it easily portable on a job. Users can either carry the reel or use the product’s wheel system to meet their jobsite needs. | Outdoor-Rated Charge ControllerRenewable energy electronics and backup power applications provider OutBack Power Technologies announced the availability of a crucial link in its sealed power components series: the FLEXmax Extreme charge controller. The device is the “first truly outdoor-rated charge controller on the market,” the company says. The charge controller is a sealed, passively cooled, and fan-less design with a National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 3R-rated enclosure that can be installed outdoors and withstand rain, ice, and other harsh conditions. It also features advanced circuit topology that reduces radio-frequency interference. Its high efficiency and low-self-consumption of power improves on-site energy harvesting and contributes to lowered fuel consumption in generator-based or hybrid installations combining both renewable and conventional energy generation schemes. |

| Rust-Removing Cotton Fiber Abrasive WheelsA line of cotton fiber abrasive wheels for removing rust, corrosion, and thread-lock from pipe threads during process maintenance, as well as for deburring manufactured pipe and tubing, is now available from Rex-Cut Abrasives. Rex-Cut Type 1 Wheels for pipe thread maintenance feature multiple layers of nonwoven cotton fabric and aluminum oxide abrasives pressed and bonded together with a soft bond and are ideally suited for removing rust and corrosion from pipe threads. For thread-lock removal without changing the thread geometry, Smooth Touch wheels with a medium bond are recommended and last up to five times longer than unitized wheels, the firm claims. Developed for use on stainless steel, Inconel, and other highly alloyed pipe and tubing, Rex-Cut Type 1 and Smooth Touch Wheels for pipe thread maintenance are available 1/16-inch, 1/8-inch, and 1/4-inch thick and in 2-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch sizes.
