Spirax Sarco released a new control valve range, SPIRA-TROL, in 6- and 8-inch sizes and with more control options. The company says the valves are easy to maintain and do not require any special tooling due to the “clamp-in-seat” design, resulting in reduced downtime and cost of ownership. Valve size ranges have been extended due to high demand, as well as the number of options to ensure that the valve can be optimized for the specific requirements of a customer application. Pneumatic piston actuators have been added to the diaphragm and electric actuator ranges. The free float design provides the user with longer stem seal life and better valve shut-off performance. The valve also now features better capacities and a balanced trim option for high differential pressures. (http://www.spiraxsarco.com/us/)
