ClearSpan releases HD I-Beam, designed to provide long-lasting durability for decades

ClearSpan is excited to announce the addition of the HD I-Beam Building. The HD I-Beam structure cleverly blends two of ClearSpan’s renowned products, their I-Beam frame, and their exclusive ClearSpan Armor Shield Covering into one structure, allowing consumers to benefit from the best aspects of these two marvelous products.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CONN – ClearSpan, the industry leader in custom building solutions, has introduced the new HD I-Beam Building. The HD I-Beam is a combination of their sturdy I-Beam frame and impossibly strong Armor Shield Cover. One of ClearSpan’s most versatile buildings, the HD I-Beam can be built to any size and customized to live up to any industry’s standards, allowing businesses to excel.

The HD I-Beam is constructed using the I-Beam frame, one of the sturdiest frames ClearSpan has offered in its 40-year history. The framing and purlins are all crafted from galvanized steel to ensure a long-lasting life and superior stability, allowing ClearSpan to build a structure on a much larger scale, without compromising the structural integrity of the building. The I-Beam frame also features a 4:12 pitched roof with a 12’ nominal eave height and 10’ clearance at the eave, ensuring easy and seamless movement in and around the building. ClearSpan offers an industry-leading 50-year warranty on their I-Beam frame, which allows customers to have confidence when choosing ClearSpan.

The structure is covered in ClearSpan’s Armor Shield Cover that is crafted from 29 oz architectural vinyl. The Armor Shield Cover consists of seven layers, including a sturdy base fabric, multiple layers of protective coating and dual-sided PVDF topcoat that increases durability and repels dirt. This creates a long-lasting tensile fabric of the highest quality. The structure can also be outfitted with end walls with or without doors, and they also include a 12 foot by 12 foot doorframe for buildings that are 30 feet or 40 feet wide or a 14 foot by 14 foot doorframe those for wider structures. Much like the I-Beam frame, the Armor Shield Cover also has an extensive 30-years warranty.

Whether permanent or temporary, ClearSpan offers many foundation options for all its structures. ClearSpan can build on any foundation, even ones the customer may already have.
