- Global marketplace for new, used and overhauled Voith Turbo equipment
- Providing an informative product overview including availability
- Expansion of the Voith service portfolio
HEIDENHEIM, Germany. The new global online platform Turbo Marketplace offers the ability to sell or buy unused, used and overhauled Voith Turbo equipment.
Safety stocks, changing conditions and cancelled projects lead to the risk of equipment becoming idle. As a result, capital is tied up. In order to assist both buyers and sellers, a Voith online platform was recently created connecting these interested parties. Here, unused, used and reconditioned Voith equipment is made available through Voith’s worldwide customer network.
Supporting both sellers and buyers with expertise and services, such as technical advice and condition assessment, Voith acts as an important interface. With in-house or on-site inspections performed by qualified Voith service technicians, interested customers can check the condition of the equipment beforehand. Corrective maintenance is recommended if necessary and can be obtained through Voith’s global service network.
Turbo Marketplace provides even more advantages. While sellers can easily reduce their inventory levels, potential buyers benefit from attractive conditions. The newly created platform represents an alternative to conventional spare parts ordering. In the event of an out of stock item, replacement stock and parts can be quickly located and acquired.
“With our global Turbo Marketplace, trading equipment is easier and faster than ever before,” explains Roman Heimhuber, Product Manager Service at Voith, who is also responsible for setting up the platform. All in all, the platform’s user-friendly and informative approach, combined with worldwide availability and any-time access, is the perfect portal for buyer and seller interaction.
