Westinghouse Wins Outage Service Contract with Tennessee Valley Authority Nuclear Plants

February 18, 2016, PITTSBURGH—Westinghouse Electric Company has been selected by Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to provide refueling outage and inspection services for the Westinghouse-designed pressurized water reactors at Watts Bar Units 1 and 2 and Sequoyah Units 1 and 2.

The award is valued at approximately $75 million and covers the period 2016 through 2021.

Most recently, Westinghouse successfully completed initial core fuel load, and currently is assisting in the start-up and testing of Watts Bar Unit 2. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with TVA for years to come.”
