EthosEnergy completes $4M generator rewinds in Indonesia

EthosEnergy successfully completed the on-time delivery of two 223MVA, 200MW Generator rewinds worth $4m for two steam turbines owned by Indonesia Power. The Generators are located at Tanjung Priok power plant site, Jakarta.

EthosEnergy reverse engineered, manufactured, installed and commissioned the generator stators within the 140 day window required by Indonesia Power. The shop work and manufacturing was performed in our state of the art facility in Lubliniec, Poland. The  Lubliniec facility has the proven experience and capability to address design, modernization and new production of large rotors, stators and complete generators with a power rating of more than  400 MW and up to 300 tons.

“The level of commitment by EthosEnergy and PT Menamas was evident in their efficient, collaborative and transparent approach to our project. Many of the field service engineers spent the Christmas and New Year holidays at the site during the first rewind, allowing them to complete the project within the agreed timeframe,” said Mr Tri Cahyono Putro, General Manager of UP Tanjung Priok Site. “We look forward to working with EthosEnergy on future generator rewinds with the same success as these two.”

Using the latest technologies, combined with a team of skilled employees ensures we meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. EthosEnergy manufactures high quality products that are essential for safe operation, product optimization and lower life cycle costs,” said Fryderyk Zebik, President of EthosEnergy Poland S.A. “Our 45 years of experience, global delivery capability and proven execution track record is underscored with our commitment to Service Excellence for all customers we partner with.”

In addition to the completion of the steam turbine rewinds, EthosEnergy also recently met its 32 hours Heat Run Test and 96 hours reliability run test of the second unit.
