The company said it has moved the commercial structure and process design for the PurGen project to the Hydrogen Energy California project, a fossil fuel gasification plant with carbon storage proposed for Kern County, Calif.

Duke Energy last week said that testing was under way in preparation for commercial operation next year of its 630-MW integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) Edwardsport power plant in Knox County, Ind.
