Enercon Federal Services Awarded Prime Contract with Battelle Energy Alliance

Enercon Federal Services (ENERCON) was recently awarded a prime contract with Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), to provide engineering design work in support of the National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) Demonstration of Operational Microreactor Experiments (DOME) project at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL).

ENERCON will be supporting the BEA’s objective to convert an unused, partially dismantled facility at INL into an operable test facility for demonstration of various microreactor concepts. The scope of the awarded contract includes providing design services for the development of the Conceptual Design Report (CDR), Master Document List (MDL), and Code of Record (COR) for the entire project through the conceptual design phase.

ENERCON has partnered with Curtiss-Wright Nuclear, Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, Cope Associates, Teledyne Brown Engineering and Ojeda Business Ventures who will deliver network development, commercial grade dedication, civil/structural analysis, architectural design, model-based system engineering, constructability reviews and construction documentation support on this exciting project.
