GAS POWER Connects with Power Plant Management & Buyers

Houston, TX – Feb. 21, 2012: TradeFair Group, in conjunction with its industry-leading brands–POWER magazine, ELECTRIC POWER Conference & Exhibition and LDC Gas Forums–is pleased to provide the gas power marketplace with several new opportunities to connect with key gas power plant decision makers through media and lead gen channels: in print, online and at live events.

While other media groups cover trends or report on user group meetings, GAS POWER offers readers in-depth news and technology affecting the power market–the type of information you expect from POWER and its editorial team.

GAS POWER Electronic Newsletter/Online
GAS POWER will address the growing information needs of the gas-fired power generation industry. This product will supplement POWER’s global coverage of all segments of the power generation business, including combined cycle gas turbines, gas-fired engines, distributed generation, and co-generation. GAS POWER is an electronic newsletter that will initially be published bi-monthly, beginning in late February 2012.

Our new gas technology editor, Thomas W. Overton, JD, also will work with POWER’s editorial team and the ELECTRIC POWER conference team to produce webinars and online training opportunities.

The newsletter will also deliver original content from the regional LDC Gas Forum events held throughout North America. These events and their coverage will allow for key reports on gas supply and demand, new infrastructure projects, LNG exports, as well as gas pricing and delivery.

Combined Cycle Users’ Group/ GAS POWER at ELECTRIC POWER
GAS POWER will be the official communiqué for the Combined Cycle Users’ Group (CCUG). Tom will lead the CCUG, working closely with the Board to identify and improve industry best practices. The CCUG will host its annual meeting in conjunction with the ELECTRIC POWER conference, held this year in Baltimore, Md., May 14-17.

At this year’s ELECTRIC POWER Conference, GAS POWER will also be showcasing dozens of in-depth sessions on the fast-growing gas power marketplace and the vital issues that are affecting these plants. The GAS POWER sessions will include topics such as Gas Turbine Technology, Upgrades and Optimization, as well as the Impacts of Gas Supply on the Power Market. There will be major displays of gas power technology on the exhibition floor from leading OEMs, including Siemens, Alstom, Hitachi and more, that are offering solutions for the industry.
