Another Contract in Jordan for Doosan Škoda Power

Doosan Škoda Power will supply a turbine set of the output of 183MW for the purposes of expansion of the combined cycle power plant Hussein Thermal Power Station (also called Zarqa), located near the capital city of the Kingdom of Jordan, Amman, with the total output of 485 MW. EPC contractor and direct customer of Doosan Skoda Power for this project is a Chinese company SEPCOIII.

A 135 MW steam turbine of the Skoda design that has been in successful operation in the Jordanian Al Qatrana combined cycle power plant since 2011, served as excellent reference for obtaining this new contract.
