Announcing the Julie A. Keil Women in Hydro Scholarship Fund

When Julie Keil unexpectedly died in late 2015, the industry lost a thoughtful and dedicated friend. Julie’s commitment and tireless work on behalf of the environment, stakeholders and clean energy earned her the respect of all who knew her. The Julie A. Keil Women in Hydro Scholarship Fund seeks to honor Julie and her legacy by supporting women who aspire to a career in hydropower and share her characteristics:

  • Leadership
  • Energy
  • Courage
  • Persistence
  • Strength
  • Enthusiasm

The Julie A. Keil Women in Hydro Scholarship provides support for women enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical school program majoring in a discipline relevant to entering the hydropower industry. The scholarship will be based on merit and financial need. Grants will also be made to women to assist in expenses to attend industry events.
