Siemens Energy and the network security company Tenable have pursued a bold new strategy to answer growing cybersecurity challenges. Starting this fall, Tenable OT Security will be directly integrated into Siemens Energy’s flagship industrial control system, known as Omnivise T3000. The two companies saw an opportunity for further improvement, building on each other’s strengths. Months of work went into directly integrating Tenable OT Security into the Omnivise T3000 industrial control system. Customers that upgrade to the integrated system for the latest release of T3000 will gain access to Tenable OT Security and its capabilities.

Chinese Officials Look at Converting Old Coal Plants to Nuclear Power Stations
A Chinese state-owned energy infrastructure group has proposed a decarbonization plan that would increase the country's use of nuclear power. The China Energy Engineering Group Co. Energy Developer GridStor Acquires Major BESS Project in Arizona An Oregon-headquartered developer and operator of utility-scale battery energy storage systems said it has acquired a major project in Arizona that will serve customers of Arizona Public Service (APS). GridStor announced the acquisition of the 100-MW/400-MWh White Tank battery storage project from Strata Clean Energy, a solar power and energy storage developer based in Durham, North Carolina.

Framatome Will Maintain, Modernize Bulgarian Nuclear Plant Framatome has signed a contract for the maintenance and modernization of electrical systems at the two VVER-1000 reactors of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant in Bulgaria.
