STA offers training for Nuclear Power Plant personnel

San Jose, CA – In response to the US legislative initiative related to the continued development of a clean, safe nuclear energy industry, Structural Integrity Associates is offering training to Nuclear Power Plant utility representatives, suppliers, and consultants, June 7 – 22, 2010 and August 2 – 20, 2010, in Charlotte, North Carolina – the new business hub for the nuclear renaissance.

Structural Integrity Associates designed Structural Integrity University (SIU) to include 2, 3-week training conferences with 6 sessions each. SIU training courses include several topics such as ASME Code Section III Fundamentals; Finite Element Analysis; Corrosion and Corrosion Control; Materials, Fabrication, Welding and Examination; Metal Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics; as well as nuclear energy hot topics such as Buried Piping, BWRVIP programs, NEI 03-08 requirements, Root Cause Analysis, FatiguePro approaches and many others.
