MAN Engines: Günther Zibes takes over management of Power market segment

Günther Zibes (44), who previously ran sales of rail engines at MAN Engines, took over management duties for the Power market segment on 1 October 2017. From now on, his areas of responsibility will include sales, application technology and service support of diesel and gas engines for generation of power and heat. He follows on from Hubert Gossner, who has since gone on to take charge of the Off-Road market segment at the company.

Zibes started his career at MAN Truck & Bus in Nuremberg close to 10 years ago in gas and rail engine sales, before taking over the management brief for rail engine sales. With his previous employer, Zibes gained experience in the area of development as well as in sales of sensors for industrial and automotive applications. The Chambers of Commerce (IHK)-certified technical business management specialist is also an energy electronics graduate and officially-certified electrical engineer specialising in telecommunications. Zibes reports to Reiner Rößner, Head of Sales, MAN Engines.
