DuPont Sustainable Solutions Recognized as Top EHS Consulting Brand for Fourth Consecutive Year
Survey by Independent Research Firm Verdantix Again Ranks DSS Highest for Brand Preference and Awareness
GENEVA, Switzerland, December 15, 2020 – DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS) has been ranked the top EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) consulting brand for the fourth year in a row, according to a survey released in December by the independent research and consulting firm Verdantix. The survey of more than 300 senior EHS executives from 31 countries gave DSS top marks for both brand preference and brand awareness among all EHS consulting brands.

According to Verdantix’s Global Corporate Survey 2020: EHS Service Providers Brands Recognition, DSS ranked at the top for brand preference with four-fifths (79 percent) of respondents rating DSS as either “market-leading” (25 percent) or “strong” (54 percent) in its capabilities as an EHS service provider. This far outpaces DSS’ performance in Verdantix’s 2019 EHS brand recognition survey in which DSS achieved the top spot for brand preference with roughly half of all respondents (48 percent) ranking DSS the market-leading or strongest-capability EHS consultant. Contributing to DSS’s enhanced brand perception this year is its strong presence in the Asia Pacific region, where half of respondents considered its services to be “market-leading,” as well as its expanded range of services such asSafetyTech.ai, a digital platform enabling deployment of innovative safety technologies, according to Verdantix. Also, 93 percent of those surveyed this year stated they are aware of DSS’ capabilities as an EHS consultant, giving DSS the highest brand awareness of any other brand in the EHS consulting market.

The Verdantix survey was completed by 301 senior EHS executives with direct responsibilities for corporate-wide EHS management strategies and initiatives at companies located across 31 countries in Asia Pacific, Europe, Gulf States and Africa, Latin America and North America. Nearly three-quarters (74 percent) of the senior executives interviewed represented companies with revenues greater than $1 billion across 25 industries. Roughly 40 percent of the interviewed EHS decision-makers represented industries with high to very high EHS risk profiles, including companies in the chemicals, mining and metals, and oil and gas sectors. Another 43 percent of respondents were from industries categorized as having medium EHS risk, including consumer goods, industrial equipment, and road vehicle manufacturing.
