		<description>Solar storms are certainly something for which the electric power industry ought to be prepared. The reasoning that therefore, global warming (and its more evil twin, acidification of the oceans) should not be feared is just plain wrong. It&#039;s like telling a swimmer about to go in the water to fear the barracuda, but not the sharks - and don&#039;t worry about undertow at all.
