I work in a power plant in the mid-west and we have 3 boilers & 3 generators. The newest was installed in 1970, the oldest dates back to 1927! We have 3 different controls for each unit, DCS, SLC's and old pnuematics on the oldest unit. They are all tied togather and don't work worth a damn! The only ones you can count on to work properly, and get this, are the (you guessed it!) pnuematics. They put a man on the moon 40 years ago and I think if they tried it today he'd end up on Jupiter!!! Kennedy, you don’t know how right you are!
